Goodlife Festival: Matt Lane - Beer bods

The sun is poking it's head from behind the clouds, drying out the muddy floor below us. It's early and we meet Matt from Beer Bods at the campfire auditorium. We’ve wanted to meet Matt for a while now, partly to chat beer, but also because we share his enthusiasm and love of a good story, something his business Beer Bods excels at.

Matt runs Beer Bods, an online subscription beer tasting club that started in his shed with a few friends. The shed tastings proved very popular and it wasn’t long before the idea moved online. It was in 2012 that without a business plan or any funds, Beer Buds launched online. Nowadays the beer tasting club is online on at 9pm every Thursday on twitter. We asked Matt what would be your perfect festival…

Drink: Smoke and barrels by Wild beer Co. They make their own smokers and smoke local applewood. That would be the perfect beer around a campfire.

Food: Gordons - Fire smoked Salmon cooked at the Goodlife festival. Served with BBQ sauce made with brown ale and a side salad dressed with IPA.

Act: I'd love to see Aldous Harding again, it was here at Goodlife last year I saw her and it was one of those magical moments.
